Join Us for Informational Picketing at HHS

Join Us for Informational Picketing at HHS

NTEU is asking all members in the Washington, D.C. area to join your colleagues at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as they continue to fight to save their workplace rights.

National President Tony Reardon, joined by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, will be leading HHS employees in informational picketing outside HHS headquarters on Thursday, Oct. 25 from noon to 1 p.m.

NTEU will be protesting HHS efforts to eliminate AWS, telework, performance awards, transit subsidies and many other negotiated rights and benefits that employees have relied on for years. Today it is HHS. Tomorrow it could be your agency.

Informational picketing by federal employees is allowed and protected under federal law. We will have signs and fliers educating the public about HHS's mistreatment of its employees and why it matters to taxpayers. All you need to do is show up, even if you can't make the full hour.*

Informational Picketing
Thursday, Oct. 25
Noon to 1 p.m.
HHS Headquarters
Hubert H. Humphrey Building
200 Independence Ave., S.W.
Washington, DC
